During the day and evening of the Relic's visit to the parish, tea, coffee, refreshments and rest rooms will be available in the church grounds. Free parking will be available on the oval behind Sacred Heart Church. |

Day 49. 21st March 2002 - Thursday 10.30 Relics leave St Christopher's Cathedral and travel via Kings Highway through Bungendore/Braidwood/Bateman's Bay to Moruya, NSW. Expected travel time is 3 hours. Sacred Heart Parish, Tel: 02 4474 2024 14.00 (2pm) Relics arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart. On arrival, a welcoming ceremony of the Relics will be led by Fr Greg Beath, Parish Priest. (Children from St Mary's primary school will form a guard of honour for arrival of Relics and following Welcoming Ceremony they will have the opportunity to venerate the Relics.) 18.00 Mass of St Therese (Veneration of Relics and brief periods of meditation follows Mass. During veneration, a priest will be available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.) 24.00 (Midnight) Mass at Sacred Heart, celebrated by Fr Greg Beath. (Veneration of Relcis continues throughout the night) Friday, 22 March 06.00 Mass at Sacred Heart, celebrated by Fr Greg Beath. 07.30 Relics leave Moruya and travel via Mogo / Bateman's Bay / Kings Highway to Braidwood / Tarago / Lake Bathurst / Inveralochy to Goulburn, NSW. Expected travel time is 3 hours. |
