Mount Carmel Retreat Centre
How much does a retreat cost?
All retreatants are welcome...
We DO NOT charge a set fee for our retreat programmes.
As a mendicant order, we rely simply on the donations that people give
us, to provide for our community. The Retreat Centre is our major source
of income, but we are more concerned with helping you to discover the presence
of God in your life than taking your money!
Someone on a low income or no incomepensioners and studentsare
all welcome to come on retreat. Your financial situation is not
an obstacle. Any personally manageable donation will help us to maintain
and run the retreat centre, and provide for our community. All we ask is
that everyone who comes gives something.
People sometimes ask us to suggest an appropriate
amount to donate to help us in the running of the centre. The
following prices are suggestions for
those who can afford them. Those who cannot are still very welcome here.
Please give whatever you can or whatever
you consider fair.
Finally we invite those who can, to pay a little extra,
to help those who cannot pay the suggested full amount.
Suggested Donations for 2001-2002:
To book a retreat, please complete the booking
