Spirituality

Carmelites are best known for the spiritual resources and depth that we bring to the Church and world. This new section of our website has now been expanded to provide an opportunity for our visitors to take time-out to pray and reflect, with the writings of our Carmelite Saints, along with contemporary images of the Australian scene. The work of Carmel Print provides a supplement to their existing work in Carmel Colour. [Read more about Carmel Print & PeopleSpeak]

New Carmelite.com team

As a fruit of the 2002 Chapter of the Discalced Carmelite Friars in the Australian Regional Vicariate, a new committee was established to focus on the ministry of new technology, media, and information technology (I.T.). The IT Committee has three members: Br. Shane Kelleher, Fr Greg Burke and Br Richard Healey. Carmelite.com has been in continual existence and development since mid 1999. The ITC is also receiving significant technical assistance from Peter Dobbie, a friend of the community, from Creative Code, as well as lots of suggestions from other members of the Community!
